What’s New
Update August 16, 2010
Please note my new e-mail address: jaanp@allstream.net
The leaves on the old maple tree have started to turn red, and a few have fallen. Summer is drawing to a close, and we have started to see cooler evenings. Another year of adventures draws to a close ......
This year, I have introduced stretched canvas prints as my primary printing medium. They are as archival as the paper prints that I continue to produce, but are a strikingly different presentation. With many prints, I have been told that the first impression is that of a painting - it can take a bit of scrutiny to realize that it is in fact a photograph.
These canvas prints have proven to be very popular, and can make a dramatic statement in any room.
Custom Printing Now Available
I offer custom photographic printing services, whether on more traditional-looking material (lustre or matte finish papers) or canvas. All materials are archival, ensuring that your art investment will look great for generations!
I print, apply protective coatings, stretch and frame in house, in order to ensure that I provide the best possible quality. All of my prints carry a lifetime guarantee to not fade, shift in color, or show any defect as a result of the printing or mounting process.
(Archivally mounted paper-based photographs are mounted with a single, removable hinge, and therefore may show slight waviness with changes in humidity: this is normal, and inherent with any paper product.)
Please contact me for a quote if you have a photographic printing project!
Workshops in 2010
Due to the above mentioned commitments, I will be offering a limited number of workshops later in 2010. Please contact me if you are interested, and I will notify you as soon as workshops are set up.
If you are interested in a one-on-one workshop, please contact me with your interests!
