This gallery consists of a variety of images taken around Ontario, mostly in Durham region, northeast of Toronto. This area, which includes parts of the Oak Ridges Moraine, is under threat from rampant development, including a proposed new Pickering Airport. These islands of nature are a treasure that may not long withstand the pressures of urban expansion.
